Available Production Technologies

Currently, two mature production processes are available for PVB and SGP interlayer film manufacturing.

Roller Method

The Roller Method uses two or three precision rollers, including polished rollers and patterned rollers, to cast and shape the film. This process offers lower investment costs, mature production technology, easy operation and stable product quality, making it suitable for a wide range of laminated glass applications.

Water Bath Method

The Water Bath Method utilizes a water cooling tank instead of casting rollers to shape and stabilize the film. After cooling, the film passes through water removal, thickness measurement, drying, cooling, release film lamination and winding systems. This technology is widely recognized for producing films with higher transparency, improved whiteness and more uniform surface quality.

The online thickness measurement system ensures consistent thickness of the PVB/SGP film during production and guarantees reliable quality.
